I have a WD My Book Live 3TB and while streaming movie files to a Samsung HDTV the audio goes out of sync with the video making the movies unwatchable. It does it with every file no matter if it is MKV, AVI etc. Is this a common problem with the My Book Live??? Is there anyway to fix it as this HDD is pretty useless the way it is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It’s not the MBL doing that.
The MBL is just streaming the file’s contents; it’s not sending separate audio / video streams, so it’s not possible that the synchronization issue is caused by the MBL. The Samsung is rendering it out of sync.
