Audio Sync Problems

Ok so I downloaded a tv series on isohunt.
It works fine on the computer.
But when I try to watch via WD TV Live box, the audio sync is off.
But other files work fine.
What is the problem?
And what can be done to fix it?

There’s your problem.

100% of the ISOs *I* created from media I own work perfectly.

Actually that doesn’t explain it.

Because I download all my tv and movies from there and most are fine.

In this case, I know it’s fine because I can watch it on my laptop no problem.

Which leaves the WD TV as the culprit.

Actually it doesn’t. Scene releases are often enough not encoded properly and a software player can compensate for these issues, hardware players can’t. So just wait for your release to get propered or buy the stuff and rip it yourself.

And why shouldn’t WD be able to do what basic media player can do?

The probably could – but the point is, they’re not going to waste their time fixing a problem that generally only affects pirated media.

If you (and they) consider 70% of their business a “waste of time” I suppose.

And you derived that statistic…how?

95,248% of all statistics are made up.

It’s purely anecdotal, but I wonder how far off it is.
Certainly, we know that file sharing is big and getting bigger.
So why not fix the issue, if they are even able to that is.

Which is why six strikes is coming. Well done.

So why would WD waste time on websh!t if the scene can’t be be bothered to fix their releases? Took them long enough to switch to x264 or to drop the pointless resizing to 640px of 720px SD material.
