Assigning a drive letter not working on Windows 8

Hi,

I was able to assign a drive letter to my WD Live Duo on Win 7 but after upgrading to Win 8, this is not working any more - do you know how I can fix that?

I havent use windows 8, but by any chance, have you tried reseting the unit to see if it gets fully recognize?

If I reset it, I will lose my data, right? Not really keen to do that…
