I have a new small NAS for my home. Its a Synology DS218play
I bought a purple 6TB HDD for my CCTV footage
and I have a 4TB Green HDD for my media
I know that the purple drive is the best for CCTV from researching
How about the green one? The media on the green HDD will be used primarily with Plex and streaming over my local network to my TV and playstation
So essentially write data doesnt need to be fast, just the read data
