Are "quit" and "eject" the same thing?

I’m having problems ejecting My Passport Ultra (connected via USB). I don’t see an eject option when I right-click the drive in My Computer.

I do see “quit” when I hover over WD Backup in the icon tray.

Is this the same as eject?

No, quit means quit the backup application. Eject means disconnect the drive for safe removal.
