I would like to archive my time machine backups. For example, copy the current sparsebundle backup to another hard drive. Then delete it on the TM volume are create a new backup. I want to keep a 2-month archive off the MBL.
Any suggestions?
I’m understanding clearly what you are trying to do.
You mean like moving the backup that you have on your hard drive to a different one? and then create a new backup on that same drive?
If that is what you mean, you shouldn’t have any issues with that.
Just in case change the name of the new backup.
