My drive was working perfectly and just suddenly started giving me this problem. I think the last time I used it was just a few days ago.
The cd drive I WD locker icon shows up in MY COMPUTER but it wont load the unlocker software or the drive itself …it just keeps disconnecting and reconnecting over and over
the drive makes a buzzing sound
it will also say application not found
So I know this seems to be a common problem I’m wondering if anyone has found an actual solution.
At the very least there must be some way to get the data off of it. I saw some people mention that WD has some sort of software for this, Where can I find it? I don’t see it on the site.
I already tried the drive on several computers and I installed the latest drivers.
