App menu to "add something" only lets me add pictures and videos

I was just trying to upload a document from my phone to one of the shares on my WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra and, to my dismay, I see that the menu only allows me to add pictures and videos! Could we get a more generic “Upload anything” option?
