Anzeige von Fotos auf My Cloud zu langsam

Hallo, seit kurzem habe ich My Cloud Home, auf der ich überwiegend Fotos befinden.
Ich muss verschiedene Fotos auswählen, die ich dann verschicke oder auf meine Sedcard bringe.
Die Ansicht bzw. Vorschau auf die Fotos dauert endlos lange. Das macht mir ein Arbeiten mit der Cloud fast unmöglich.
Die Cloud befindet sich im Nebenraum und ist über WLAN angeschlossen.

Welche Möglichkeit habe ich, die Ansicht/Vorschau auf die Fotos zu beschleunigen?

My Cloud Home ist m.E. eine Festplatte, auf die ich mit meinem Notebook zugreifen kann (ebenso wie dies mit dem Handy funktioniert, was übrigens eine sehr schnelle Zugriffszeit hat).
Egal, welches Betriebssystem dahinter steht. Ein schneller Zugriff auf die Daten der Cloud sollte selbstverständlich sein.
So ganz verstehe ich Deine Antwort nicht.
