Hi

I have a MY BOOK Home Addition that has worked fine but suddenly won’t launch. I get an error message that says it has to do with installation but I have used this product for years with no problem.

Quick Diagnostics says it passes. How could it be a Windows problem all of a sudden? Nothing else has changed. I hesitate to mess with firmware update as I am not a geek. Any suggestions?

There are no updates for this drive

try a different cable or different  computer

check on disk management to see if showing

looks like you will need to replace the drive

Thanks for the information. It worked today so it is an intermittent glitch.  Don’t want to get a new drive…thanks any way.
