Anywhere Backup - Malware connection?

My computer had a malware infection, (Rogue.PCDocPro), hopefully removed by Malwarebyte.
According to Malwarebyte, there were 15 files affected, among them were:

Registry Values Infected:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs\C:\Program Files\Common Files\Memeo\eWebControl365.dll

Files Infected:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Memeo\eWebControl365.dll

After Malwarebyte removed the malware, including the above registry entry and file, WD Anywhere Backup reports unable to run due to missing files.

Anyone have the same problem with malware originating in (or using as a host program) WD Anywhere Backup / Memeo?

I think it was either a false positive from MalwareBytes or the file was infected after WD Anywhere Backup was installed. Reinstalling Anywhere Backup will probably fix the problem. If you verify that your install files are good and MBAM consistently detects malware in that file right after a reinstall, then it’s a false positive.
