As explained in your other thread the v2 apparently does NOT officially support installing Transmission or any other third party apps/modules other than those included with the v2.x My Cloud. As explained by Nazar78 in his [APP] Transmission various versions for firmware V4+ (03/2016), v2.x is not supported by his install method because he doesn’t have a v2.x version to test and use as a test bed. As explained both in that thread and in other threads in this subforum the v2.x single bay My Cloud units use a different firmware than the older v3.x and v4.x version My Cloud units.

As indicated in your other thread there are other My Cloud models that support installing Third Party apps among which include Transmission.
