are there any updates for the WD TV HD Media Player (Generation 2, model:WDBABF0000NBK) . Something to fix the audio sync in mp4 video and play files with wmapro sound tracks.

If you didn’t pay a licence fee to Microsoft as part of your WDTV purchase, WD would presumably not be legally allowed to add WMPpro support later on.
Unless you convert your files to a supported codec, that the WDTVs will play, all you can do is hope that WD creates yet another new player, that has licenced WMApro from Microsoft. If they were to build such a new player, then you’d be able to buy one to play all your existing WMApro files.
