Any way to permanently disable write caching?

Im using two WD Black drives with linux software raid, which is why I want to permanently disable write caching on these disks. This is possible with hdparm and can be done automatically on boot, but I wonder if there is a way to write this to drive electronics as a permanent setting so it does not have to be done again after a restart.

I dont believe this is possible.

Try contacting WD directly for more information about this.
