Any way to map older WD Hard Drives to SmartWare?

Hi,

I own a 400GB WD (4000ME) and recently bought the 500GB WD Passport Essentials.  I like the backup utility in SmartWare and would like to use it to backup my C: to the older WD using SmartWare.  Is that possible? If not possible to do it directly, is it possible to backup to the new WD and manually move the backup files to the old WD?

SmartWare only sees other external drives as source drives, not destination drives.  You can copy the backups over to the other drive, but it’s not recommended.
