I have an android 5.1 phone and I’m trying to stream mp4 videos to my chromecast. I have not problems connecting my phone to the chromecast, nor any problems casting photos. I’m able to cast small videos (~50 MB) but when I try to cast larger videos (200+ MB), I’m unable to cast through the app. Most of the videos I’m trying to cast are very large (900 MB - 2 GB). I’m able to watch these videos on my android video player app without a problem. Is their a limit of file size that can be transmitted to the chromecast? Or is their some sort of flaw in my system?

Are you doing this through the phone data service or WiFi?
Does resetting the devices makes any changes?
It is through wifi and resetting does not make any changes.
