Android App My Cloud folder location - how to move the folder

How do I move the ‘My Cloud’ folder, created by the android app on my phone, to another location? I want to move it from the phone internal storage to the phone sd card.

Will it work if I just connect the phone to a pc and move the folder in explorer?

I believe, if you do that, the application will create the folder again on the original location.

What phone do you have. On my old Samsung Galaxy S4 it was easy to do but now I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 and you can’t install a SD card.

I will add the following. This is for a Samsung Galaxy S4 and comes from the book.

  1. Open Settings, select the More tab, and tap Application Manager.
  2. Swipe horizontally to display the On SD Card tab.
  3. To move a listed app to your memory card, tap its check box.
  4. On the App info screen for the app, tap Move to SD Card.
