Android app access

Hi, just bought a My Cloud has but I cannot access it via 4g using the Android app.

I have checked all settings for remote access and they seem OK.

Funny thing is the WD Photo works OK.

The error I get is user does not have permission (403)

There seems to be a number of entries in the forum for this error but I cannot find a solution.

Is there a solution I have missed?

I finally fixed my access problem! It turns out I had old mobile access settings on my phone. My APN settings on O2 were “O2 Postpay GPRS” and should have been “O2 Mobile Web”. As soon as I installed the new settings I could access my files over 4G.

Thanks for the reply.

I have checked the APN settings on my HTC One for Tesco Mobile which uses O2s infrastructure and the settings are all good. Still have the problem.

If you have not already done so, try uninstalling the problematic app from the Android phone, then reinstall it and test again.
