There is currently no way to back up files stored on the MyCloud Home. I have backup software, but it will only backup local files. I need to be able to mount the private drive as SMB or AFP so I can actually back up my data WITHOUT the WD Discovery app.
Please make this feature available.
SMB access is basic functionality that any networked storage device should have, but the WD My Cloud Home still doesn’t have.
