Has anyone has any success setting the Alert Setup, to receive a email…Currently have the WD 1TB white light…

sure, ill go down the line for alerts setup:

check email notification

smtp.gmail.com   : i use gmail

check tls//ssl

check smtp auth

i put user name only for my gmail email

i put pwd only for my gmail email

i put full @gmail.com email for email return path

email recip: i put my @yahoo.com email here for 2nd purposes

i usually get an email when the power goes out therefore rebooting the nas, or once was a high temp email.
