Album cover art appearing in Photos

Product is WDTV Live streaming. Is there any way to stop album cover art appearing in photos? I really don’t want to see these except for when I am browsing my music. I understand why they are appearing as each Artist\Album folder has a jpg called folder.jpg but surly there must be a way to instruct the WD to ignore album cover art in photos. Many thanks Slip

and I see that this is obviously a ‘feature’ of these devices.
