MyPassport Blue 40 mos old …Lately after a WD Backup App Bkup I cannot Release the Drive from W10 because the activity light blinks for 5-7 minutes.

Thanks for the Reply & I see WD Backup is a discarded app now.
This Issue happens with a newer MyPassport Ultra and Both at Unpredictable times - They Release at times and get stuck with Activity Lights at others.
I ran the – Quick Test = OK – BUT I presume you want the Multi-Hours Test that I must do over-night.
I’ll update tomorrow although I’d be shocked if something is wrong with the Drive.

Again, This 6+ Minute Activity Light after WD backup run is random BUT Too Often.
It SEEMS to happen AFTER WD Backup runs AND Image sessions with Macrium’s app.
You couldn’t guess the cause without my computer, so this is just in case you’ve heard a Cause and/or Fix from other Forum threads.
Safari 6.0 and later on supported Windows and Mac computers. Back up files using USB, Remote, Internal, Cloud, and Camera backup.
