After firmware update cant play mov files

I just upgraded my firmware to 1.03. But cant play mov files. I receive an error code "unable to paly selected file. please refer to the user manual on how to change the file toa supported format. " However from the users manual, I see that  mov files are supported.

Welcome to the forums.

After any update make sure you do a hard reset (paperclip in the side pocket) or reset from the settings menu.  If that doesn’t fix things, post the mediainfo (or some other program) about the file(s) that won’t play here.

If you upgraded to 1.03.x, then you have something other than a WDTV Live.   1.02.21 is the latest WDTV Live firmware.  Check on the appropriate forum for whatever product you have.
