I want to replace my current USB External HD attached to My Cloud with a different USB External HD. I learned how to remove the current USB HD. After removal, can I plug in the USB HD to any PC and view the contents I stored on it through My Cloud previously?
I am checking to see if I need to transfer the content first before removing the USB HD from My Cloud.

You should be able to view the USB hard drive contents on a computer. Depending on how the USB was formatted on me need additional third party drivers. This assumes the USB hard drive isn’t damaged.
