After changing port speed to 1000 can't access device

Hi All,

today I’ve changed just one setting in the admin panel - port speed from Auto to 1000. Just after that the red light shown up on the device and I’ve lost connection. Till that moment I can’t access the device. How to change the value back to ‘Auto’ without loosing my data and other settings?

You might try plugging it directly into your PC instead of the router/switch it’s currently connected to.

If that works, then apparently your router/switch doesn’t support Gigabit Ethernet?
