Every time I attempt to download the advanced format .exe file, it tells me I am not authorized. When I look at my registration and look at available downloads and it is not listed. WD tells me I need to run this for a fresh install of XP but it will not let me download it…what gives? I am signed in, yet nowhere on the page does it inidcate that I am singed in, only on the first sign in page…am I still signed in when a new window is opened for the download selections? This should not be this difficult. I have not been able to find an answer to this question…support is closed…can someone tell me how to get this file so I can complete my installation…thank you!! Ken
What is the model number of your drive?
it’s kind of late, now, but does the drive have a jumper setting for xp?
