I had to reinstall OS on my PC and in the process, seems I lost the attached backup on my WD MyBookLive. I can see a gray band with 201 GB in but don’t know how to get those files. Tried windows explorer but files are not there. Please help!

From the My Book Live dashboard you should be able to see the used space on all shares. So, try identifying which shared folder has around 201GB and then try creating a new shared folder with the exact name (Do not delete the current one). Then map the share from Windows Explorer.
This does not work .The share is only showing a small used space, only what
I can already see on that share. the bulk is in 200GB that does not show up
anywhere except in smatware
