MBLD 4.0 - attached Seagate Desktop, the dashboard recognizes it, however the total storage space is still 4TB and not 6. What do I need to do to add the extra 2tb of storage?

Your USB drive will only be shown as another share. It will not add to the drive capacity of the Duo.
If you navigate to Duo’s Public share you should see another share listed for your USB drive. So you will have the 4TB Duo share, and a 2TB Seagate share.
