Adding commands to BusyBox

Hello

Having moved from a MyBookLive to a MyCloud Mirror Gen2, I understand that the underlying OS is no longer the same. I have a script that is invoked via a crontab and which was moved across to the MyCloud Mirror Gen2. However, BusyBox appears not to have a command I need: mountpoint.

I see on the BusyBox Githiub that mountpoint is included so it appears that WD stripped this command (and perhaps others) out. Is there no way to add the binary without having to recompile?

There are no official documents available related to what you would like to accomplish. Hopefully an experienced User will be able to assist.

I have had to modify the script as a workaround for the absence of these basic commands but I would still like to understand if anyone has had experience on going about adding these commands back without having to recompile?
