Adding a WDTV Live to current set up

Hi all, Hopefully this post is in the right place. Right now I have a WDTV Live Hub in the basement with a 3TB WD External Drive. I love it, it works very well for what I need it for. I was thinking of adding a WDTV Live player to the main floor of the house to access everything I have in the basement. I do have a hard wired connection throughout the house. My question is, will I be able to access everything on my WDTV 1TB drive as well as everything from my 3TB drive from the new WDTV Live player? Or will it not recognize the 3TB as it is not a networked drive, although I can access it from my PC as I mapped it to the Live Hub. Currently, on my XBOX 360"s I can access the Live Hub but not the secondary 3TB. Thanks for any help! JJ

Yes, the external drives plugged into the Hub can also be shared on the network to other devices.

BTW, this forum is for the 2009 model WDTV Live HD and 2010 model WDTV Live Plus.

The forum for the 2011 WDTV Live Streaming Media Player is here:
