Adding a perl modul to perl - Does someone know how to do this?

Hi all,
is there anyone who tried successfully adding perl modules like for instance XML/Simple.pm to the perl installation on a My Cloud Mirror Gen2?

The standard procedure, I used on my old My Book World Edition II successfully, does not work on the GEN2.

I used the sshd user, but I do not know the root credentials.

Can someone advice?

There’s no official WD documentations related to such proceedings since this is not warranted or supported. Hopefully an experienced User will be able to assist.
