Add Dashboard control for indexing and thumbnail services

Reading the forums, it seems that the indexing and thumbnail services cause problems with performance when transferring large amounts of media to the device, so much so that users have found ways to disable these services via SSH login.

I’ve also noticed that the results of these services have consumed 100MB on my device, for something I don’t want, and don’t need.

It would be useful if there was a control on the Dashboard to allow users who don’t need the services to disable them, either permanently, or temporarily, too allow bulk file transfers to complete without losing CPU to these services.  This has to be preferable to people logging in and disabling services, and using the ‘find’ command to search and destroy .wdmc directories?
