ADB to My Cloud Home?

Developer docs say to: adb connect

However I’m not able to adb to the box.
When I enter: adb connect < IP address >
Output: unable to connect to < IP address:5555 >

Do I have to put the box in developer mode or enable ADB? There’s nothing in the developer docs about that.

Hello ek1,

We have not tested putting our My Cloud Home device to developers mode. My Cloud home have been recently launched in the market.

I would request you to wait for other users to post their expertise regarding this.

Ran into the same issue… port scan shows that the device is not listening on port 5555 at all.

I guess there’s some way to enable developer mode, but it is not documented.

I’m on firmware 4.3.0-129
