During the cloning procedures my system shuts down at 50%. It completely shuts down and if I hit the power button the mobo/gpu/ etc gets power. I have to turn off the PSU and turn it back on in order to start the computer up.
You might have better luck looking on the Acronis forum. This is kind of an orphan product neither really support it. The Acronis has a lot of useful guides and knowledgeable posters. There are 2 schools of thought about wheather to clone or image. Try making the rescue CD and running from that. That’s how I make my images then there is no Av or any unexpected update or defrag or something unforseen causing trouble.
