Acronis - One Western Digital devise should be installed

I recently purchase three (3) My Book 4TB from Best Buy.  The product is advertise with free Acronis backup.  I downloaded the software at wd.com/Acronis, this is what is printed in the My Books box.

When executing the downloaded Acronis file I get the “To install the product, at least one Western Digital device should be installed in your system”.

I rebooted and the system still does not recognize the hard drive.

Any tips or tricks to get Acronis to recognize my drive.

I have Windows 8.1 installed.

I’m holding off opening the other 2 new My Book 4 TB, this could be a deal breaker.

Hello and welcome t the WD community.

I would like to know if the unit you are using is connected directly to the computer or to a USB hub. In case the drive is connected to a USB hub trey and connect it to a USB port that is on your computer.
