4TB My Book working OK. Uninstalled & reinstalled Acronis Trueimage, now software can’t detect My Book - but drive is detected by Win 10 Disk Management & am able to write the drive.
Acronis is old and more suited to earlier versions of Windows. Windows 8 and above use file history and as long as the disk can be seen by windows your are fine.
No I’m not. WD directs, on their web site to down load thw Acronis software as WD no longer provides it. Also, as I stated in my original submission, Acronis software cannot detect the drive while the PC does rtc.
Try Windows File History, check in settings, update and security, backup
