Acess denied

I have a severe problem. My keyboard broke and I needed to send my labtop for repair. I have bought the passport to backup all my data. I got my labtop back and tried to put the data back on, which worked. Now I can’t acess my data because now when I open files it tells me access denied. I checked already I have the rights.

Sorry. Didn’t help. Any other ideas? I got Vista btw.

Also, the Problem is only with PDF and office files.

Are you trying to open these files from the external drive?

No, I have copied them on the Labtop via the function of the program
