Accidental over voltage My passport ! Help!

I had my My Passport connected to a USB Hub and accidentally connect the wrong power supply to the hub. Instead of 5V it was 8V. My passport is now unrecognised by my PC (Windows Error 43). Prior to this it was working absolutely flawlessly. It was my error not the manufacturer, I just need high-end technical advice if it is repairable.

Is there a service agent in the UAE I can get it repaired?
