How do I access the files on My Passport external hard drive? I know it’s backing up my computer’s files, but when I open it up, it just lists a bunch of eula files.
What backup software are you using?
Are you trying to access the backup files themselves or the files inside the backups?

If you only see EULA files, you’re probably looking at the drive’s software installer area rather than the actual backup. On Windows 11, open File Explorer, right click the My Passport drive, choose Properties and check how much space is actually being used. If it shows a lot of used space, turn on View > Show > Hidden items and look for a backup folder or a folder created by WD Backup. If the drive shows almost no used space, the backup may not have completed or may have been saved somewhere else.
