Access WD My Book Live from Win 2000?

Help!

I’ve a 3TB MyBookLive version 02.11.09-053 that I also want to use, as a network drive, from a pc running Windows 2000 SP4

The My book live CD wont run ( CD label doesn’t include Win 2k in supported systems list).

Have tried WD link WDLinkSetup_v1.00.03.zip  which claims to be compatible with Windows 2000 SP4. It installs but on running get error message “The procedure entry point getaddrinfo could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll”

I can access the dashboard and play files via the twonky browser.

Just found:

Microsoft Support ‘getaddrinfo’  says The  getaddrinfo function was added to the Ws2_32.dll on Windows XP and later.

So looks like WD need to modify WD link to #include Ws2tcpip.h and also Wspiapi.h.

But this dosn’t help me.
