Currently I us IPTV on an android box, I can set recordings to a PC HD via the IP address, user name and password then set the path to my recordings. The PC is old and the HD is small so I am looking at replacing with a WD My Cloud NAS. I have read the manual but cannot see any info as to connecting via IP, it has to be done this way as thats how you set it up in the IPTV software.
Please let me know as no point in buying if it has to be done through the internet or apps
