Accesing WD My Cloud Home Duo from media player

Good evening.

I have an older TV in which I play multimedia content thanks to the WD TV Live streaming box (one of the best purchases ever).

I need to expand my personal storage space and I`m considering a WD My Cloud Home Duo (as WD products have always been reliable for me).

Apparently, the content in the My Cloud Home Duo cannot be accesed through the conventional file explorer, but rather through an specific app. This raises an important question, and that is if the multimedia content in the My Cloud Home Duo can be accesed from the WD TV Live streaming box.

My cloud Home duo is useless for streaming. The application to read this hard disc available in Android, windows and Ios only I belive.

Even if you read the files the media driver is not supported.

Moreover the speed of file reading is purely depend upon your Internet speed (upload).

Means this hard disk is useless for media share online streaming.
