About the daisy chain between G-drive with TB3 & G-drive with TB2?

Can the G-Drive with TB3 be connected to another G-Drive with TB2 using a TB2 → TB3 adapter (bought from Apple store)? My Mac Air is connected to the USB3 port of the G-Drive with TB3.
