is it normal that my new My Passport runs only at a speed of less than 20M/s when i connect to usb 2.0, i think it should be faster.
USB 2.0 has a peak optimum performance of 480 Mb/s (60 MB/s) with a powerful system and optimized drivers, and some times the actual transfer may not have enough time to actually accomplish these speeds. This means that as an average, 20 MB/s is an expected transfer rate.
