Able to RAID 0 with WD740DFD (SATA I) & WD740HLFS (SATA II)

Hi, I previously bought the 74gb WD740DFD and I now see that there is new product line of Velociraptor SATA IIs that replace the original Raptors. My question is if I bought a WD740HLFS, making my no. of drives as 2, would I be able to configure both drives as RAID for performance & speed even though both drives are not the same ‘generation’, but are the same drive size?
