Hello,
My movie file’s audio is encoded in 6 channel AAC, yet it outputs in plain stereo sound. I have no issues with multichannel playback using AC3 audio encoded video files. My WDTV is connected to my receiver using optical out. This is the mediainfo output for this 6channel AAC audio encoded video in an mp4 container.
