Hi well WD wont cover damage caused by you. You need to go buy a new drive.

If it’s a desktop environment, and if you can solder, then the solution is relatively cheap and easy.
Just hardwire a legacy 4-pin Molex power connector to your hard drive’s +5V and +12V power pins.

If you can’t do it yourself, then your local TV/AV repair shop may be able to do it for you.

Well, I don’t worry about this anylonger. I trashed this out today in the morning.

I talked to some computer technician about this today. “I could do this but I would charge you that much that you would have been better off to buy a new hard drive” - he said.
