I purchased a 6TB external hard drive with the sole purpose of storing my iTunes library and corresponding files. After about 15-20 minutes, the hard drive stops responding and all streaming music, movies, etc. are disconnected. I searched the internet for a solution but the latest is from 2012. Is there something I’m missing? Is there something I can do. Seems like an easy fix, like checking a box in some menu. Thanks for your help.
