So I purchased a 5TB portable hard drive to store movies on with hopes of being able to then plug into my smart TV to watch them on.
So I am on a Mac Computer and I have attempted to format the HD to MS-DOS (FAT) but the max partition size is 2TB. After doing some reading online I read that you can do something called a GUID Partition Map to create 2- 2TB and 1-1TB Partition on the HD. But I also have read that smart TV may not recognize the HD because of the GUID Partition
