My 4 TB WD Essentials is not recognized when I attempt to back up my pc. I have hte latest WD software installed, as far as I know. i have had the drive since 1/19 at which time I was able to back up my pc one time but never again since. I can see the drive in the device manager…
Since WD Essentials is visible in the Device Manager but not accessible/visible in the File Explorer, the drivers may have been corrupted due to some factors like unexpected removal of the USB drive.
